SpiderDan scaling the North Tower of the World Trade Center – New York City 1983

SKYSCRAPERMAN™ is the true story of Dan Goodwin, aka SpiderDan, a renowned American rock climber who scaled many of the world’s tallest buildings, including the Sears Tower and the World Trade Center, dressed as Spider-Man.

In 1980, after witnessing the failure of the Las Vegas Fire Department to rescue scores of guests from the burning MGM Grand Hotel, Dan Goodwin set out to warn the world of dangers in skyscrapers. To insure everyone paid attention, he climbed the tallest buildings on the planet. He soon discovered however, the greatest threat to his life was not from the skyscrapers, but from a secret so well guarded that some would do whatever was necessary to keep the public ignorant, even if it meant committing murder. Despite the odds, SpiderDan persisted and in the process created techniques and equipment that had they been available in the World Trade Center, 9/11 could have had a different ending.

SKYSCRAPERMAN™ – A non-fiction thriller guaranteed to surprise, inspire, and educate.
